Linda Jean Shepherd received a Ph. D. in biochemistry from Pennsylvania State University. She has also been a student of Jungian psychology.

The hierarchical structure emerges out of Western dualistic either/or thinking, and is based on linear logic - the absolute classification of all things. Lifting the Veil, 1993.
