Columbus International Festival 2006
This is when the Scandinavian Club shows Columbus what Scandinavian culture is like.
Is a beautiful celebration at Christmas time.
This is the club's opportunity to show the rest of the community what
Scandinavian heritage is all about. Hundreds of local ethnic organizations
present displays. Thousands of people from the central Ohio
area around Columbus
visit and enjoy the festival every year.
The 2000 International Festival was at Veterans Memorial Auditorium,
downtown Columbus, OH November 4 & 5. The club was
honored as the best Non-Profit Ethnic Organization Display. In 1998 the
Club won the blue ribbon for Best Ethnic Food Booth.

Is the Norwegian Independence Day.
Is a Scandinavian celebration of summer. The Columbus club includes a traditional
Norwegian bonfire as part of it.
The Reformation was an extensive remaking of religious culture in Europe. Members of the Scandinavian club relived it.
