Construction of booth for Scandinavian Club of Columbus at the 2007 International Festival

Michael Lindner, with help from Glenn Kranking, built a Stave Church above our booths, a very impressive structure towering high above us, and attracting much attention from festival goers. Looking for a recognizable scandinavian architecture, I drew inspiration from the Stave ('pole') churches in Scandinavia at the beginning of the first millenium.

I used corrogated cardboard to create the shapes and structure for the decorative topper of the booths.
