A basic familiarity with the meanings of the individual cards is prerequisite for this class. If you are not adept at understanding the card meanings, please feel free to bring any reference book or your own notes.

Corn - Krithomancy

Divine Sources

In many cultures corn has been considered a gift from God/Goddess. Only natural that it has become a tool for divination. A common use, similar to lots, would be to contemplate the question while drawing a handful of grains from a bowl. Separated into four piles with a few leftover grains the interpretation would be:                 odd numbers = no or unfavorable, even numbers = yes or favorable, or mixed = hidden or unknown.

Alectryomancy is divination by a observing a bird picking corn grains from a circle of letters, similar to using a Ouija or Spirit Board.
