Error message "Code 360 ForSyllables_Breakdown
ISSUE Object already loaded" when performing
syllable lessons 043 and higher.


When trying to set the Next Lesson for a student from
the LTK For Schools Administrator Menu, a message
"User defined error" occurs and the program ends
with a message "Schomenu.exe caused a general
protection fault...".

When network errors occur, LTK does not always
recover the Student Database (Ltk.mdb) properly.


The Side Trip function changes the regular lesson
number to the same number as was used in Side Trip.


LTK For Schools Network and Enterprise Network
versions do not send mail properly between students
and instructors. May cause a "Path error" message.


LTK For Schools versions end a lesson with the
message "CODE  13, UNIT cnBegin_click, ISSUE
Type mismatch" when used in locations that use
Date formats other than U.S.

The LTK Placement Test works well for most, but not all students. If your student scores high
(Lesson 080 or higher) when using the LTK Placement Test, we suggest that you download and use
our LTK Reading Assessment (requires the Adobe® Reader).
NOTE 2
 LTKV641.EXE
 The size of the downloaded file is 5.7MB and will take approximately 50 minutes with a 28.8K
modem.

  1. Save it to a known location, and have the LTK Program CD-ROM in your CD-ROM drive
    before you start it.
  2. After the download, the LTKV641.exe program will automatically start the LTK Installation
    Assistant. Follow the directions to install or update your LTK software.

LTK For Schools Network Version and Enterprise Network Version:
The default "install-to" directory for the LTKV641.exe setup files is C:\~LTK. If you are installing the
Update to multiple Student PCs on a network, you can change the Default Directory to a shared
network hard drive and run the Update on all Student PCs from that location.

You should run this update from an LTK Student PC. LTK Student PCs should mapped to the LTK
Server hard drive with read/write permissions, and with Reconnect at Logon checked. This is
best done using a shared folder that is mapped to each LTK Student PC.

 Install this update after the LTKV641.EXE update (see NOTE 2, above).

The size of the downloaded file is approximately 2.2MB and will take approximately 15 minutes with
a 28.8K modem.

  1. Save the MAIN637.EXE file to your hard drive in the LTK\DB directory.
  2. Run the MAIN637.EXE program just downloaded from your LTK\DB directory. Select the
    UNZIP button to replace your existing MAIN.MDB file. It will require 8MB of space on your
    hard drive to install.

LTK For Schools:
If you are using a network, you can copy the unzipped file named Main.Mdb to the LTK Student PC
folder named Ltk\Db.

If you are using the LTK For Schools Single Station Version or LTK For Schools Network Version,
you must install this update on each Student PC.

If you are running LTK For Schools Enterprise Network Version, you must install this update to the
LTK Server, and place it into the shared Ltk\Db folder.
