I have not done much to the exterior of the car, yet!

In the near future I will be sending it out to have the rust spots repaired/replaced and have the car painted. The original color is B5, but I am thinking of having a darker blue shot. I am torn between originality and customizing the car. At this point I have done enough modifications to the drivetrain and engine, that originality is out the door, but I can at least keep the interior and exterior stock. Once I make my decision I will take it in for the work, probably sometime in 2007.

As mentioned the car is originally B5 and the build sheet says it came with a white stripe and without the rocker molding that it currently has. When I do have it painted I will be having the white stripe put back on it, regardless of the shade of blue. And unless I can find some proof that the rocker molding is correct for this year of Barracuda and if some dealerships installed it, it will be gone from the car. Even if it is correct for the year, I might have it removed anyway. Any help on the ID of the rocker molding would be appreciated.

So far the things I've done to the exterior are;

Removed, reparied and painted the front grill and surronds, there were som crack in the surronds and the inserts were pretty faded.
I have sprayed some touch-up paint on various panels, just to repair scracthes and some parts where the paint was bad.
Touched up the tail panel, and tried to remove some of the dents in it.
Used the Moto Chrome paint on the taillight bezels, they look more like brushed aluminum know, at some point I will bite the bullet and get repo's.
Replaced the taillight inner molding with repo's from Layson's
Replaced the rear wheels with Wheel Vintuqes 5 on 4 14 x 6 Rallyes, I will be replacing the fronts later in 2006.

Things still needed

Bumpers rechromed or replaced
Reflectors repaired or replaced
More work on the tail panel and front grill
Body work and paint
and as mentioned the taillights
Replace the wheel opening trim, what is on it is exceptable, but the front passenger side has a piece missing, so I at least need to do that one.
